  • Afternoon tea and meet billets at Cadet Hall.
  • Hangi and Maori Concert at Matariki.
  • Overnight with host family

Thursday 25th July 2013

  • Visit to Jade Factory and Blue and Green Lakes.
  • Visit Buried Village.
  • Lunch hosted by Rotorua Return Services Assn.
  • Depart for Waiouru Military Camp via Taupo.
  • Activities at Waiouru Military Camp.
  • Overnight at NZ Army National Marae.

Friday 26th July 2013

  • Visit Waiouru Military Museum with Firearms presentation.
  • Depart for RNZAF Base Ohakea by RNZAF Helicopter (subject to operational requirements).

Saturday 27th July 2013

  • Travel to Wellington (NZ Capital City) and Trentham Military Camp.
  • Meet NZCF Commandant and ATCANZ President.
  • Dinner in mess.
  • Overnight with host family.

Sunday 28th July 2013

  • Visit Weta Cave workshop and Souvenir shop (Lord of the Rings).
  • Visit Te-Papa (National Museum), Cable Car, War Memorial/Tomb of the Unknown Warrior, Mt Victoria. Government House.
  • Overnight with billets.

Monday 29th July 2013

  • Meet Chief of Defence Force and other Chiefs.
  • Depart later in day on Inter Island Ferry to Picton and RNZAF Base Woodbourne.

Tuesday 30th July 2013

  • Quiet day of relaxation.
  • Omaka Aviation Museum.
  • Evening at 27SQN cadet unit.

Wednesday 31st July 2013

  • Travel to Burnham Military Camp via Kaikoura and seal colony.
  • Overnight at Burnham Military Camp.

Thursday 1st August 2013

  • Depart for Lake Tekapo.
  • Visit Alpine Springs Snow Park (snow tubing, ice skating).
  • Overnight at Tekapo Tourist Motel.

Friday 2nd August 2013

  • Travel to Alexandra.
  • Alexandra cadet programme.
  • Overnight with Host family.

Saturday 3rd August 2013

  • Visit Queenstown and take Kawerau Jet boat ride.
  • Take Gondola to Skyline lookout.
  • Bungy Jump (optional at own cost).
  • Dinner with local Squadron cadets.
  • Overnight with Host Family.

Sunday 4th August 2013

  • Travel to Oamaru via Moraki Boulders.
  • Programme with Oamaru cadets.
  • Overnight with Host Family.

Monday 5th August 2013

  • Travel back to Burnham Military Camp.
  • Overnight at Burnham.

Tuesday 6th August 2013

  • Visit Antarctic Centre and take Hogland ride.

Wednesday 7th August 2013

  • All depart for home.
