  • Discover the fascinating world of nature: Visit to the "Papiliorama" tropical forest and garden in the Kerzers area.
  • Visit to the historical town of Murten.

Friday 26th July 2013

  • Visit to Pilatus Aircraft Ltd at Stans or the Emmen Military Flight Training Center.
  • Sightseeing and shopping in City of Lucerne.
  • Visit to the "Verkehrshaus der Schweiz", the Swiss Museum of Transport.

Saturday 27th July 2013

  • Glider Flying.
  • Introduction to the procedures and the airspace of Grenchen Airport.
  • Barbecue in the evening.

Sunday 28th July 2013

  • Glider Flying.
  • Thermal flights over the Jura mountains, aerobatics over Grenchen Airport.

Monday 29th July 2013

  • Transfer to Samedan by the Swiss Air Force (requested).
  • For the next four days the cadets live at about 1700 m above sea level.

Tuesday 30th July 2013

  • Hiking tour to Mount Pers (3207 m AMSL).
  • In the evening ride by cable car to the Mouttas Muragl (2454 m ASML).

Wednesday 31st July 2013

  • Guided tour through the world-famous Badrutt‘s Palace Hotel of the luxury class.
  • Glider flying from Samedan Airport.

Thursday 1st August 2013

  • Glider flying from Samedan Airport.
  • In the evening celebrating Swiss National Holiday.

Friday 2nd August 2013

  • Transfer back to Grenchen by the Swiss Air Force (requested).

Saturday 3rd August 2013

  • Flight with single engine aircraft to the charming village of Gruyères.
  • Visit to the cheese factory and the castle of Gruyères.

Sunday 4th August 2013

  • Free relaxing at Grenchen.

Monday 5th August 2013

  • Early morning hot air balloon ride.
  • Guided tour through the historic town of Solothurn and visit of the military arsenal, now a museum.

Tuesday 6th August 2013

  • Time to relax and to prepare Farewell Event.
  • Farewell Event in the evening.

Wednesday 7th August 2013

  • Transfer from Grenchen to Frankfurt by Swiss Air Force.
