Internationals Depart to Host Regions – Land in Kalispell, Montana, settle into hotel (if time permits before dinner), welcoming banquet at local diner hosted by Rocky Mountain Region Commander, and briefing on 10-day itinerary.

Saturday 21st July 2018

Orientation flights at Glacier Jet Center. Cadets will fly in CAP Cessna 182s, as well as Bell 429 helicopter, Cessna Mustang, and WWII T-6. When cadets are on the ground waiting for their next flight, they will practice radio communication with CAP cadet

Travel into Yellowstone National Park, WY, and see Old Faithful Geyser erupt (it erupts every 1.5 hours). Tour provided by CAP member who works in the park, followed by lunch in the park. Travel into Idaho Falls, ID, for welcome banquet by Idaho Wing Comm

Visit of Goblin Valley State Park, known for its thousands of hoodoo rocks, known as “goblins.” Farewell ceremony with Utah Wing cadets, then travel into Colorado.

Saturday 28th July 2018

Visit Grand Junction, CO, and spend the morning visiting the canyons and mesas of the Colorado National Monument with the local CAP squadron. Travel to Buckley AFB to tour the 460th Space Wing, housing the giant “golf ball” antennae used for space operati

Whitewater rafting on the Arkansas River, lunch at the rafting site, then return to Colorado Springs. Farewell banquet at the USAF Academy.
